Ally

This pretty lady is a 6 year old beagle or mix who has to find a new home because her human is ill and can no longer care for her. Her mom has had Ally since she was 7 weeks old and is broken-hearted to let her girl go as she transitions to a nursing home where Ally is not allowed,  so we’d like to give her mom peace of mind to know Ally will be safe and loved.

 

Ally has gained weight because she hasn’t been getting the exercise she once was so an active family will be able to help her lose that weight again. She weighs 55 lbs right now but should have a Weight Watchers plan so she can live a long and healthy life.  Ally has lived with a cat her whole life and they were pals and even play together. She has been around other dogs and she does ok as long as they are not invasive of her space. This girl LOVES people – she falls in love with everyone she meets after a short time.  Ally has not been around very young kids but with older kids she gets nervous if they are very loud or rambunctious; she enjoys a consistent routine and we can’t wait to find her a new family to love on.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
