Annie - in Maine!
Latest update: July 2016
Annie is here in foster and doing beautifully! She is living with 3 small dogs and has met other dogs, kids of all ages and is lovely with everyone. She LOVES the water and she is having a blast.
She is a beautiful one yr old hound mix who was found as a stray and never claimed. She weighs about 30 lbs – such a petite sweet girl – we think she looks like a lab/border collie possibly. She is such a doll - so bouncy, happy-go-lucky, friendly and active. I can see her as the star of an agility class! She is great on a leash and loves the shelter yard, where Annie especially enjoys the toys. She loves playing with the other dogs. When tested with cats, Annie did chase them but it seemed to be more playful than with intent to injure. This would need more testing if she is to go to a home with cats.
If you are interested in Annie or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
