These little lovers are named after bears - they are cuddly and bouncy like little cubs. Their mom is a lab mix, the same mom to Hogan, Harriet, Huxley, etc who recently came north to us. Mom won’t let people approach so our partner rescuers are working with local animal control to humanely trap her so she can be spayed. They are about 3.5 months old as of early February. Baloo and Ben weigh 17 lbs and Barrett weighs 21 lbs.
The “bear puppies” were rescued from under a shed – the rescuers had to tear up the floor to get to Baloo to get to Baloo! They are healthy, happy, outgoing babies! They are great with kids and love playing with the grownup dogs in their southern foster home.
If you are interested in one of these sweethearts, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed; they all are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved through the rescue, that potential adopters will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
Thank you for considering rescue!
