Baxter - in Maine!
Most recent update: Sept 2017
The B puppies are 6 months old as of early August. They weigh about 35-40 lbs each and they are wonderful sweet pups. They are great with kids and other dogs. Their mom is a German Shepherd mix and nobody knows who dad is. Mom was found tied to a tree, pregnant, scared and thin. She was rescued and gave birth to her beautiful pups. We are so happy we could bring the babies north to safety. Mom will come north once our rescue partners are able to raise the money for heartworm treatment for her.
Baxter and Bree went into foster together and they were having a blast but a little mischevious together. They will thrive in homes with another dog or as an "only". They are learning to walk on a leash, doing great with housetraining, and never have a shortage of kisses for you!
If you are interested in meeting Baxter, the only brother of the group, or any of our pups please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
