Bethany - in Maine!
Most recent update: September 2017
The B puppies are 6 months old as of early September. They weigh about 35-40 lbs each and they are wonderful sweet pups. They are great with kids and other dogs. Their mom is a German Shepherd mix and nobody knows who dad is. Mom was found tied to a tree, pregnant, scared and thin. She was rescued and gave birth to her beautiful pups. We are so happy we could bring the babies north to safety. Mom will come north once our rescue partners are able to raise the money for heartworm treatment for her.
Bethany was in a foster home with an adult dog much bigger than her and two small children and she did wonderfully. Her foster mom tells us “she is a love bug and doing great! She loves to play and snuggle! She slept all night in her crate without making a peep. She is temporarily staying with our doggy day care friends and she is so so sweet -she loves the staff and the other dogs. She plays nicely and then crashes for a big nap. She is precious!
If you are interested in meeting Bethany or any of our pups please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
