Bonnie - in Maine!

Posted August 2020

Look at this beautiful girl! She is a one year old lab mix who is a great medium size at 54 lbs.

Bonnie likes every human she meets and is great with other dogs. She chased goats in her former home so obviously it was time for her to go. Their loss is someone else’s wonderful gain.

Bonnie loves to cuddle and she sticks her tongue out every time you try to take her photo. She doesn’t mind baths and she loves her doggie daycare friends. The dogs love her and the humans are sorry to see her go. She is working on her tendency to jump up to greet you but is already so much better.

Bonnie would benefit from experienced dog owners; at first she was so starved for attention that she tried everything she could do to get the humans to love on her. Now that she is learning she doesn’t have to try so hard, she is better but we don’t want her to revert back to mischief ; 0 )

Bonnie is great in a crate but tears up a bed if you put it in there. When she went to the vet she rolled on her back for loving from everyone.

If you have interest in meeting Bonnie or any of our cuties, please fill out the adoption application.

Please note : we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
