Brody is such a good boy, and a young pup (one year old) who will benefit from some training and consistency. Brody was not used to being in a crate or kennel before entering the shelter with our southern rescue partners so he is still working on his comfort level. When traveling to vet, foster, etc he did well in the crate; he will just need positive reinforcement with crating.
Brody loves sleeping on his back and is going to make a great cuddler. Especially when he’s tired from a long day of playing, he just melts into your arms. Brody just loves human attention and he plays well with dog friends in small groups; he gets a little overwhelmed in bigger groups and doesn’t always know when to settle down while playing with his doggy friends. He is such a loving guy!
Brody weighs 43 lbs and is a gorgeous brindle dog, maybe a Plott Hound mix. We do know he’s 100% adorable and that he likes the water! Brody was recently adopted but was a little too active and a little too interested in the cats in the home. He would greatly benefit from the company of another active dog to tire him out because his activity level is high. He also is a big chewer so we had to stock up his foster home with some toys designed for the toughest chewers.
If you have interest in meeting Brody or any of our sweet pups, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
