Are you looking for a gentle, fun and good natured dog? Bruno is two years old and weighs 60 pounds. He has the most gorgeous soft and silky black coat that is perfect for petting, which he greatly enjoys.
You will get your daily exercise with Bruno - he is a very active walking companion who will go for as long as you want!  Playing in the fenced area at our southern partner shelter is one of his favorite things, and he bounds about in total joy!

Bruno also loves attention and affection and enjoys being around people. He will be a fun and loyal part of his new family! Bruno gets along with other dogs. He lived with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Bruno was adopted from our southern partner shelter by a family with two children. Both worked full time and decided they did not have time for a second dog. They did not report any adverse behavior with the children or their other dog, they just changed their mind and left this sweet boy homeless again!

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
