Chauncey - in Maine!
Posted June 2021
This little lover is Chauncey, and at 8 months old he only weighs 15 lbs. He was rescued after he showed up in a rural neighborhood and eluded capture for quite a while. A young child was the one who Chauncey befriended and “surrendered” to and he was taken in by our southern rescue partner.
He is a funny and quirky little guy who is absolutely an escape artist so he is going to need a securely fenced yard or vigilant owners who keep him on a leash or long lead. He is hilarious when he stands on his hind legs to be picked up and loved on.
Chauncey absolutely loves other dogs, and is clearly a lover of young humans. We don’t have cat info at this time but his rescuer thinks he will be friendly to them. He loves to play and is so sweet!
If you have interest in meeting Chauncey or any of our other sweeties please fill out our adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
