Here is a dog who needs a kiddo in his life! We have the dog, do you have that kiddo?    Check out this furry little peanut. He is 17 lbs and 2 years old and is so very sweet.

His vet says he has a corgi body with German Shepard fur! His southern foster family adores him. He enjoys other dogs and is  doing well on housetraining. He is wonderful with children and great with cats! He has a 7 yr old child in his foster home and they are joined at the hip.

Chestnut does not do well in a crate so his new family may need to do a little extra doggy-proofing and have him in a contained area if they are not home but he may not need it for long once he is secure in the routine at his new place.

We can’t wait to meet this little sweetie!

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
