Chief

Posted October 2018

Our partner shelter tells us, “Hail to our Chief! He is a happy-go-lucky, energetic dog with one of those wonderfully expressive canine faces that looks like he is smiling at you. He is one year old  and weighs approx. 35 pounds. Chief is so handsome with his shiny black coat and curly tail, and his sweet brown eyes reflect the joy he has for each and every day!

Every day is an adventure for Chief, which he would love to share with you!  He is a great walking companion who is also housebroken and crate trained. We enjoy watching Chief in our fenced play area, where he zooms around and has so much fun. He especially enjoys tennis balls and squeaky toys. Chief would be a great hiking or running buddy and we think he could be the star of an agility class! During the warm months, he loves splashing around in the doggy pool.

Chief has a friendly personality and enjoys the company of other dogs and being around people of all ages. He will need a home without cats.  He will sit on command and is a bright dog who should do well with any commands you want to teach him.

If you are looking for an active companion, Chief could be the one for you!"

If you have interest in meeting Chief or any of our dogs, please fill out the adoption application. Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation, that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
