Foster or forever home needed

What a handsome fella! Jake is a victim of circumstance, like so many dogs that come into rescue. His owner got very sick and could no longer care for Jake due to entering assisted living. He was heartbroken to give us this sweet boy.

 

Jake is 2 years old, weighs about 55 lbs and we think he is likely an AmStaff/Lab or Lab/Pit mix. He gets along with kids, cats and female dogs. He is living with three furry girl-buddies and loving life. Jake is housetrained and does not use a crate any more when left alone as long as shoes are picked up. He is super sweet! Jake does not love paparazzi so his pictures will need updating when we can!

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
