Coco Jones

special needs sweetheart

in New England!

Newest update: May 2017

Such a special soul and an amazing survivor story!

Coco Jones is a black Lab mix and is almost two years old. She was surrendered to our partner shelter because her family had too many dogs. One of her back legs was terribly infected and had to be removed. She has adjusted amazingly well to being a tripod pup and is getting around just fine! Coco is a very friendly and sweet dog who is housebroken, crate trained, and good with people of all ages, cats and other dogs. Coco is such an inspiration because how well she is doing!!

Coco weighs 52 lbs and it will be important to keep her at a great weight so she can support herself but not work extra hard with only three legs.

Now that Coco has arrived here she is doing wonderfully in foster. She plays fetch and runs around like a nut, but is also a champion snuggler. Having three legs doesn't slow her down one bit. She likes other dogs and humans of all shapes and sizes.

If you are interested in adopting Coco or any of our sweeties please fill out the application

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed, they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feling safe and loved.
