Ollie - in Maine
Newest update: July 2017
This precious boy is Ollie. His name was Colin when he was adopted about 6 months ago. His family is changing and can't keep him, so we need to take him back and find a forever home. He is a handsome Collie mix with a gorgeous, fluffy coat that is perfect for petting! He is estimated to be 3 to 4 yrs old and weighs about 35 lbs. He is a happy-go-lucky dog with a friendly, bouncy personality that makes him a joy to be around. Ollie loves to accompany you on walks and as you can see he is a fan of ice cream cones. Even in a fenced yard, Colin should be supervised because he can jump a four foot fence. He is a bright dog who loves to learn. He might do great at a doggy sport like agility. He loves people of all ages and sizes but we know he can get overwhelmed in groups of dogs. We are trying to gather more info on how he does with another playful dog and with cats but when he was at the southern shelter last year he was tested with their cat and was super funny - bouncing, nudging and kissing, trying to get the cat to play.
Ollie recently got hit by a car and has a cast on his foot but he will be good as new soon!
If you are interested in Ollie or any of our cuties, please fill out the adoption application. Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
