Please note: we do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed. They are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in their foster placement where they are feeling safe and loved.

Cooper - In Maine!

Last update: November 2015

Cooper is here and has settled in SO quickly! He is an adorable Hound mix and is 8 months old (as of  early November)

At the southern shelter where he was turned in with some other dogs, they tell us, "Cooper is an enthusiastic companion on long, daily walks. Cooper is housebroken, too. He has such fun in the shelter yard, where he bounds about in total joy and loves to play with the toys. Cooper has a great move where he will stand up on his back legs and “dance” for you. Cooper is a very bright dog who wants to please and should be easy to train. He is great with people of all ages and also gets along with other dogs.

Cooper participates in a daily play group and we are  happy to report the staff says he is great!!"

Now that he is here, he is living in foster with two other dogs and he is loving, sweet, and has integrated easily in the family!
