How much fun could you have with Delina? This pretty girl has such a gorgeous gold and white coat and her contagious doggy smile is just too much! Delina is three years old and a great medium size at about 40 lbs. She is great on a leash and enjoys being close by your side on daily walks at our southern partner shelter. She loves to run and play in the shelter yard and is so beautiful to watch with her graceful gait. She is housetrained, crate-trained and ready to roll.
Delina has plenty of affection to share and is great with people of all ages. She is great with the dogs and is reportedly fine with cats. She is being petted and is an affectionate companion. She is great with people of all ages and also does well cats and other dogs. She is wonderful!
Now Delina does have one vice; she can be a “door dasher” so great care is needed where doors might be opening and closing such as busy households or those with small children. A fence will have to be tall and secure. A great trainer can help you get started right away on working with Delina on staying put. It's why she got surrendered to the southern shelter; they did not keep her secure and she would get out frequently when someone left a gate open etc.
If you have interest in meeting Delina or any of our sweeties please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
