Diesel - In Maine
Newest update: March 2016
Check out my video!
Diesel is a young boy (approx 10 months old as of March) who was found wandering with his buddy (or brother?) Duke when they were just babies. The person who found them gave them away to a friend, and then 6 months later they were found by a farmer wandering around on his land. So these two nomads were saved by our southern partner rescuers, and they are just as happy and friendly as can be.
Diesel is a bit goofy and a lot adorable. He is great with other dogs and all the people he meets. He met a little girl at an adoption event recently and did great. He is housetrained, crate trained and weighs about 45 lbs. Diesel appears to be a lab/terrier/Catahoula possibly, maybe a little bulldog in there? Neither parent is known so it’s impossible to know for sure.
He is a good good boy who can't wait to find his forever family.
In his Maine foster family, Diesel is living with two other dogs and a pre-teen boy.

If interested in adopting Diesel or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: We do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved through the rescue, a potential adopter will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
Diesel is in southern Maine waiting to find his forever family.
