This little man is a 7 year old Rat Terrier. He was found roaming loose with a note on his collar stating his age and name, and why he was "let go" (bit a child). Of course we have no way of knowing the circumstances but when Digger was brought to a shelter he was put through the S.A.F.E.R. test which he passed with flying colors. When he was introduced to a child, he ran away. We will not place him in a family with children; right now he lives with a single mom and he is doing wonderfully. He is a little too intense for the cats and we will be integrating him with some other dogs to see how he does.
If you have interest in meeting Digger, please fill out the application.
Please note: we do not have a physical location; all the dogs are in foster homes throughout New England. Digger is in southern Maine waiting for his forever family to find him. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet him in his foster setting where he is feeling safe and loved.
