Rosie - in Maine!
Newest update: July 2017
Rosie was formerly known as DJ when she got adopted as a baby, about one year ago. She has been a much-loved family member but her little human sister has developed terrible asthma. They didn't know until now that it's a dog allergy ; 0 ( They are heartbroken to give up their baby but of course the health of the little human is the most important thing!
The great news is that Rosie is a little sweetheart, so smart and loving, and she likes everybody! She is great with other dogs and lives with two cats. She will chase them and wants to play.
Rosie will bark at new people until she realizes they are not strangers and then she is OK
We included a picture of Mama Dottie so you can see where they get their cattle dog genes from. Rosie is one year old and about 25 lbs now.
If interested in Rosie or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
Thank you for considering rescue!
