Elise- In Maine!
Last Update: February 2016
Elise’s Maine foster mom tells us, “She has had no problem fitting in with our critter clan, one bird was walking on the floor today and she showed a little interest in him. She likes to chew soft items like pillows and dog beds. We are watching her to see if she might have some allergies. She is very happy and playful and will make someone a wonderful pet.”
Emma and Elise were found running in the street, almost getting hit by cars. Our partner rescuers were called and were able to pull them into foster care and get them spayed and vaccinated. They each weigh about 7 lbs and the vet thinks they are lhasa apso mixes. They are unsure if they are related, but they think Emma could be Elise’s daughter. Emma appears to be about one year old and Elise appears to be about two. They both had to be almost completely shaved due to the mats in their coats.
Elise is doing great with the other dogs in the foster home and she is just so sweet. She was tested with a cat and did fine
Elise is the silver dog in the pictures.
If interested in Elise or any of our sweeties, please fill out the application
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed. All dogs are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential adopter and their family will meet the dog in the foster placement where they are feeling safe and loved.
Thank you for considering rescue!
