This adorable pup is 11 months old and weighs 32 pounds. Her snow white coat is beautiful and her brindle markings are so unique. Ellie Rose is so bright and curious and interested in everything! She does well on a leash, rides great in a crate in the car, and has already learned to sit on command. Ellie Rose is so affectionate and loves to be petted and cuddled. She is good with people of all ages, enjoys the company of dogs and pretty much ignored the cats she met.

 

She is such a character! She’s a compact little mixed breed of what, we don’t know – maybe bulldog or amstaff, but she’s such a peanut! Ellie Rose has a flea allergy so it’s important that she stays up on her preventions.

 

Ellie is friendly with other dogs and has a female dog buddy in her foster home. She could be an “only” because she is confident and curious on her own. She does like to chew so dog-proofing is a necessity as well as having a good supply of appropriate chew toys. She is not a huge fan of the crate but does well in a dog-proof area when she is alone.

 

Anyone who meets this little lady will love her! She has not formally met children but we can do that if a family with kids is interested. We think she would have a blast with a fun and active family.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
