These little darlings are the E puppies – they were born in rescue with our southern partners on May 5th, so they’ll be 4 months old when they arrive. Theirs is another heartbreaking story but with a happy ending - one of our rescue partners was driving back from caring for some of their dogs in a rural area and noticed a sweet little dog on the side of the road in a field; of course she stopped to see if she could help. As soon as she got close she could tell the dog was pregnant. She came right to her and was barely settled in for a week before giving birth. Mom is a little shepherd mix about 30 lbs, Dad must have been a good-looking black lab! The puppies are not too big at all– the largest is Elise Lynn at around 10 lbs and Evie Sue is the smallest.
If interested in any of the E pups or another sweetie through our rescue, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
