Please note: We do not have a physical location where the animals are housed; they all are cared for in foster homes throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved by the rescue, that you will meet the dog(s) in their foster placement where they are feeling safe and loved.
Erin is being fostered in southern Maine while she waits for her forever family to find her!
Erin - in Maine
Latest update: September 2015
Meet the E pups! They weigh between 20 and 25 lbs and are almost 5 months old (as of mid-September) . We had to revamp the bios because Erin is not the shyest any more. She is outgoing and fun and loves to meet new people and new dogs.
Erin is a beautiful and smart girl. Her Maine foster family has been working with her and she knows "sit" and "come". They think she's really a fast learner and eager to please. She didn't know much about walking on a leash when she came but now she is doing better each day. Erin absolutely loves being the center of attention and will roll on her back for belly rubs. When she comes in from outside she runs to the "treat" drawer and sits waiting til you give it to her. She's no dummy this girl - her foster mom actually had to tape the drawer closed because she will open it on her own!
Erin is full of energy. She takes multiple walks per day and romps with her kids, plays fetch and swims. When she settles down she's a cuddle bug.
Erin is a sweetheart that loves everyone - she goes to meet the kids at the bus stop and plays with all different dogs in the neighborhood - her favorite friend is a red nose pit puppy across the street. They entertain everyone at the bus stop! Erin is intimidated by little dogs yapping at her but just backs off, an appropriate response.
Erin is living as an "only" right now so she could be an only dog or live with canine buddies. She's a lovebug!
Both parents are known in this case and are lab mixes; mom looks to be around 40 lbs and dad looks around 50 or so lbs.
