To apply to adopt Flo or any of our sweeties please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
Thank you for considering rescue! Flo is in Cumberland County, Maine in foster care with lots of other dogs while she waits for her forever family to find her.
Flo - in Maine
February 2016 update:
Flo is here with us in foster care and she is a very shy girl but love and patience go a LONG way. Her foster mom finds that Flo will watch the other dogs in her foster home and then all of a sudden decides to do something - like jump into a person's lap, or approach somebody new. She definitely depends on the other dogs to know what is safe and to realize that new people can be A-OK. She didn't like her crate at first but was happy to enter the crates of the other dogs so now she has a wire-style crate like her friends and she is happier.
Flo is a perfectly-sized medium girl who only feels safe in the company of other dogs. Luckily her foster mom owns a doggy day care so this makes Flo very happy. She doesn't warm up to people easily but does love other dogs and relies on them. She is also great with the cats.
