If you have interest in adoption of Georgia and Gracelyn please fill out the adoption application. We are not willing to separate the girls right now and we will work with any adopters to continue their training.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed - they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dogs in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
Georgia and Gracelyn
Last update: November 2017
Georgia and Gracelyn are cattle dog sisters who are 3 1/2 years old. They are incredibly bonded and everyone agrees that they are ready-made to make a new family complete.
The girls can be a little reserved with new people at first but become acquainted quickly, especially if snacks are involved. They are happy and excited about life and their humans. As soon as they get past their excitement to see you they will flop on the floor for tummy rubs.
Georgia and Gracelyn lived happily for several years in an adoptive home but they became too bossy with the other dogs, particularly a smaller older dog and they just couldn't be safe any more. They are not friendly with cats so these two need a new home with no small pets in order to thrive. They could likely live with bigger confident dogs. You will have so much fun with them! They have a medium activity level so a normal amount of exercise is great for them. A fenced yard would be a huge bonus. They have not lived with children but we think older kiddos would be fine for them.
They have gone through training and are obedient, smart, and ready to show off their skills! They have learned to walk nicely on leash, and are ready to learn even more. They would benefit from continued confidence building and we'll help with training support and ideas through Kompletely K9 Dog Training and Rehabilitation.
