Grover - in Maine!

It seriously does not get any cuter than this! Grover is 7 months old and only 15 lbs. We think he may be a wire haired terrier mix or miniature schnauzer mix. He is loving and sweet, and a bit nervous nellie at first but he warms up quickly to people who approach him gently. Grover enjoys other dogs and has not been exposed to cats. He has spent time with children, even a toddler, and did well. He’s up for a fun time wherever he goes.

Grover is doing great with house training and walking on a leash, but this little muffin is not wild about being in a crate. He would do well where he could be gated instead of crated, or just crated for short periods of time. His rescuers felt that he may have been in a hoarding or puppy mill type of situation where he was crated all the time so perhaps he worries each time how long it will be before he gets out.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed. They are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
