Harlow - in Maine
Posted February 2022
This sweet girl is such a doll, She is a lab mix who is 6 months old and approx.22 lbs. She will be a great medium size girl as a grown-up.
Harlow thinks she is a lap dog and will park herself in her foster mom’s lap to help her work. She is living with several dogs and gets along with everyone but is a little too much for the smallest dog in her foster family because she plays too hard. She is very interested in the cat and maybe too much for most cats that are not dog-savvy.
Her foster mom tells us, “she is going to make an amazing family dog”
It is a little hard to get good pictures of Harlow because she is on the move quite constantly. We think she’d love some active school-age kids to keep her busy! She will jump and want to be right with you so very little kids may find her to be too much.
Harlow is working on her leash walking. She’s good until she wants to go the opposite way you do and then she will put on the brakes and requires some cajoling to follow the humans ; 0 ) She is also working on her comfort in a crate. She 100 percent needs to use one if her people aren’t home because she will make your home look like a natural disaster came through if you don’t crate her.

If you have interest in Harlow or any of our sweeties please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. Once approved, we expect a potential family to travel to the dog in the foster setting so that they are introduced where they are feeling safe and loved.
Thank you for considering rescue!
