Harriet - in Maine
Most recent update: Nov. 2015
In her Maine foster home, Harriet is doing amazingly well! She is learning indoor manners and is making good progress with housetraining. She is living with several dogs, a cat and children and there isn't anybody she doesn't love! How can you resist her sweet face and her outgoing personality?!
These sweet babies are the H puppies. They are medium size mixed breed dogs - the largest is about 25-30 lbs at 5 months old (as of mid October) They were treated for skin issues when younger but are recovering nicely and growing in nice healthy coats. All of them are sweet and outgoing and are good with other dogs and children. Hogan and Harley are the largest. There is just one girl (Harriet) and her 5 brothers.
They appear to be lab/shepherd mixes - mom is a medium size shepherd mix who was also the mom to the S puppies who came this past winter (Sloan, Scooby, Scrappy, etc). Our partner rescue is working on
catching her - she is a stray in a very rural area - so they can have her spayed and taken care of. In the meantime the puppies are growing up big and strong.
If you are interested in an H puppy or any of our sweeties, please fill out the application.
Please note: we do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed. They are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in their foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved. We are not able to "hold" a dog until you are approved for adoption through our rescue.
