Mac - in Maine!

Handsome Mac is a shepherd mix who is 2 yrs old and 50 lbs. He has the most adorable ears where one is often up and one down. He is such a doll and recently arrived to his Maine foster home. He is a bouncy boy and benefits greatly from the fenced yard at his foster mom’s place. He doesn’t know his own size and plays with all dogs like they want to be his best friend. His current foster sister is much smaller and doesn’t appreciate his efforts to play (by jumping on her). He is still learning to walk on leash without pulling you down the road but is doing great with his crate and housetraining. He rides well in the car and is very affectionate and adventurous. Mac howls when he hears a fire engine siren, it’s the cutest! Mac lived with children but he was too bouncy for the littlest ones; older respectful kids would enjoy Mac and they could help drain his energy.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
