We do not have a physical location where the dogs are kept, all our sweeties are in foster placements throughout New England, and potential adopters meet them there where they are feeling safe and comfortable. We do not "hold" dogs until a family is approved through the rescue. For more information on our process and fees, check the FAQ document at the bottom of each page of the site. Thank you for considering rescue!
Kodiak -in Maine
Last update June 2015
Kodiak is approx. 10 months old and is a beautiful chocolate lab mix who weighs approx. 45 lbs. Her former owner said she is a shar-pei mix. Kodiak is such a friendly happy-go-lucky dog who enjoys long walks and playing with other dogs.
Kodiak is a very active dog who likes playing with toys and loves the water. She is housebroken and crate-trained. Kodiak is a smart chick and already knows the sit command. She is eager to learn and will be a fun companion. Kodiak likes people of all ages and is just a love! She is living with children and other dogs. The former owner says she does not like cats.
Kodiak went to the vet before leaving our southern rescue partners. She loved riding in the car and sat right at the feet of the volunteer while waiting for her turn. She was so good with the vet and staff, and got many compliments on her good looks and awesome behavior.
She is being fostered in southern Maine while she waits for her forever family.
