Livi - in Maine
Posted March 2019
This little lady had some rough beginnings. She was found running on a 4-lane highway all by herself. The good samaritan who rescued her said she almost got hit by several cars before she could get to her. Livi was not healthy at all and had a bad case of sarcoptic mange. She was lucky to have been saved and cared for by our southern rescue partners. Now you wouldn't even know that she struggled; she's such a survivor! She is the picture of health and happiness now!
In spite of all, she's as loving and beautiful as you can imagine. She is in foster with a pre-teen, teenager and two male dogs, and she loves absolutely everyone she meets. She is a big player and can be a teeny bit sassy with an "in your face" play style so a furry brother or sister will have to be tolerant and show her the ropes.
Livi is just about 16 lbs and 5 months old, so she will be a little lady as a grown-up. We think she may be a Carolina dog mix but whatever she is, she is 100% adorable!
If you have interest in meeting Livi or any of our cuties, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
