Loki - in Maine!

Latest update: October 2015

Loki was saved from a southern shelter where he had been seized in a cruelty investigation. Once he was released after the investigation, our rescue partners saved him because he was so very sweet. He is a 1.5 year old husky mix and is just the happiest guy who gets along with people and dogs. He does best with female dogs. He has some puppy behaviors like mouthing and jumping to greet you, so he would be better with older kids. He has lived with cats and done fine.

He is housetrained and crate-trained and he's still just a big puppy at heart. Loki is about 50 lbs now.

He is working with a trainer at Paws Down Training (www.PawsDownTrainingService.com ) and is doing really well learning manners and recall.

Loki would do great in an active home with good leaders.

Interested in adopting Loki or any of our other sweeties? Check out our adoption application.

Please note: We do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed, they are with foster families throughout New England and we expect potential adopters to meet the dogs in their foster homes where they are feeling safe.

Loki is in central Maine working hard to become the best family member he can be! He can't wait to find a family of his own to love.
