In New England
Meet Lowen (Pronounced Loo-Ven). He truly is a wonderful dog and he needs a new home without young children. Even with training support he is too fearful of young fast-moving kids and his family is about to have a baby. Lowen loves other dogs in the day care setting but will guard food from dogs so in a home this would have to be well-managed. He will guard the house from strangers as well.
His ideal home would be an active family with a fenced in backyard with no young children, no cats & preferably no other dogs OR a family willing to work with a trainer to help him with his resource guarding if they have another dog. He is a very active dog so he definitely needs someone who can provide him with the level of exercise he needs. He loves to walk and hike, play fetch, and he probably would be a good running partner also. He is a big cuddle bug who loves attention & always has to be near his humans, he loves to sit on feet! And he loves to give lots and lots of kisses.
Lowen is two years old, is neutered and up to date and weighs in at 80 lbs. His DNA test showed a mix of American Staffordshire Terrier, a bit of rottweiler, and a bit of unknown mix.
If interested in more information, please contact us and we’ll get the information from his owners. They are heartbroken to give this boy up.
