Lucy - in Maine
Most recent update: July 2016
This beautiful girl is an enthusiastic & active 4 year old American Staffordshire terrier. She weighs about 45 lbs and is such a love! Lucy is a local surrender after she was abandoned & left with the current owner’s roommate. We have had a couple of our volunteers meet with Lucy & both found her to be an outgoing friendly girl with lots of potential. Lucy would like an active home with someone that will commit to structure & ongoing obedience in her life. She needs a confident leader that perhaps wants a hiking buddy or someone interested in being involved in a dog sport/agility.
Lucy would do well with another active dog as a playmate however probably needs a cat free zone as she does appear to have some instinct of prey drive. Lucy seems to really enjoy human companionship & will be so happy to move onto the next chapter in her life with a committed & loving family.
If you are interested in Miss Lucy or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
