McMuffin - in Maine!

This grown-up boy is McMuffin, and yes he was found at a McDonald’s, hiding under people’s cars from the heat (and maybe finding a spare French fry or two ; 0 )

 

Mcmuffin is an extraordinarily sweet and chill guy. He has a medium level of energy and is judged to be 4-5 years old and weighs 48 lbs. His gorgeous brindle coat and slender body makes us think hound dog.  He does well with a typical amount of walking and he likes to hang out in his crate for a good snooze. He sleeps through the night without a peep.

 

If his foster mom works from home he will relax wherever he’s comfortable, and he loves being outside and likes going for walks and lazing in the grass. He is great in the car and likes to go on adventures. 

 

McMuffin is friendly with other dogs, has been fine with children (he has met school-age and older kids) and was a little afraid of the cats he met. He is a little barky upon new meetings but just because he’s excited. He does well on a leash but will do even better with a little training. He already knows how to “sit” and “give paw”. He will put his front paws on you to say hi but is not overzealous about it.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
