Milo - in Maine

Milo is a very loving dog who wants to be with his people. He would enjoy a dog sibling that likes to play or snuggle. He loves his toys, his favorite being a rope toy. He’s one of those pups who will need toys for strong chewers because he can shred them quickly. Milo gets excited to meet new human friends, sometimes a little too excited but responds to his trusted people to help him act with calm manners. He really likes to with his furry foster siblings  but is always  ready for play or snuggle time with humans. He is very food motivated and is working on “sit”. He loves kids but can get a little excited trying to play with them. His small human friends are 8 and 10 years old and we think kids younger than that would not have as much fun with Milo.  

 He sleeps very well in his crate at night. He occasionally still has a little submissive pee when excited but the more comfortable and confident he becomes, he should grow out of that. He’s not the best at telling you when he has to go out so his people will have to keep him on a schedule of taking him out regularly.

 

Milo is a lovebug and ready to find FURever love.

Milo is approx 10 months old and we are so happy he could be rescued by our southern partners so that he could have a chance to live an indoor life. He may fill out a little more but at approx 45 lbs he is a great medium size.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
