If  you are interested in meeting Molly or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England.

It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Molly - In Maine

Most recent update: February 2019

Molly is such a sweet and snuggly girl! She was surrendered to us by a local family whose dynamics changed, leaving her with way too much alone time that she was having a hard time handling after always being used to constant companionship. Molly is 9 years old and weighs approximately 20 lbs. She is a Boston Terrier/Lab mix.

Molly is an affectionate, smart, and energetic middle aged “young” lady. She loves to go for

walks, hikes or snowshoeing, play chase with her stuffed animals or is also just as happy napping on the couch.

Molly has always lived as an only pet and that may be the easiest transition for her to adjust to; however, we are willing to consider the possibility of her going to a home with an existing dog  but it would certainly require careful introductions to know if it will be the right fit for all concerned.

We would not suggest placing Molly with any younger children at this stage of her life but we feel she might enjoy the attention from older children that are comfortable around dogs. Molly has not had any experience living with cats and does show some prey drive towards yard critters, no chickens for this lady!

Molly can be anxious when she is in new situations or meets someone for the first time but it does not take long at all for her to relax and feel comfortable, she even “smiles” and spins on her back legs if she really likes you. Molly is happiest when she is close to people, so we are looking for a family that can offer her a life with minimal time alone.

Molly has had basic obedience training. She can sit, lie down, give paw and is sure to be willing and eager to learn some new tricks too! Molly has a lot of love to give and we know that we can find her the perfect home to enjoy many more of lifes adventures!
