Rosie - in Maine
Newest update: March 2017
We've been having fun bringing Rosie to meet and greet events because she is such a gentle and friendly soul. She is a local surrender and Rosie is almost 10. She has been in the same home since she was young but a new baby and a changing family have left her looking for a new home. She is a boxer mix who weighs approx.. 65 lbs. Rosie is loving with adults and older kids and she was sleeping in the family’s bed. She is separated now from the family because she gets too nervous when the baby cries.
Rosie had cruciate surgery so can’t do prolonged running any more and she needs doggie stairs to get up to the bed. Her family donated those so they can go with Rosie to her new family. Rosie loves to be petted and brushed and is a big attention lover. She likes her kong toys with peanut butter or yogurt but can’t have hard bones. She loves frozen green beans as a snack, and she can be trusted outside the crate when her family is not home. She can not live with cats or puppies. She has met adult dogs and does well but has never lived with one.
Rosie is a local dog and would love to find a new home as soon as she can. She is staying at a doggy day care with people who love her and she would be a great addition to a loving family. If interested, please fill out the adoption application.
