Rufus - in Maine

Rufus has had a rough start to life. He is an approx. 3 year old pitbull mix originally from Florida. Rufus was adopted from a shelter and then used as a fighting dog. He is currently in foster care here in Maine. He is a big goof with a heart of gold. Rufus is very well behaved and loves people. He is energetic and loves to keep busy. Rufus is crate trained. He would do well in a home without small dogs and cats as he has a strong prey drive. Rufus can live with other dogs but is selective. At this time, we are unsure about children as he has no exposure to kids.
