Sadie - in Maine

What a doll! Sadie so happy, affectionate, smart and interested in everything. She is great on a leash, rides well in the crate in the car, and was a good girl for her veterinary exam. She is in excellent health. Her age was estimated at 7-9 months. Sadie weighs 32 pounds but should fill out a little more. Her coat is so beautifully patterned!
Sadie does great in the doggy daycare environment, loves the other dogs and the staff! She knows sit , stay and “kennel up” and she also knows “go for a ride” ! Sadie is one of the smartest dogs I have ever met ! She aims to please, loves to play with toys and is very friendly to everyone. She is good with other dogs but chases cats. She had been adopted at eight weeks old from a southern shelter but returned a few months later because the owner did not have time for a puppy. Their loss is our gain! Is your home the right one for Sadie? We don’t know her breed mix but she appears to be a cattle dog mix or possibly some catahoula and a small breed? Whatever the biology tells you, she is 100% sweet and smart!

If you are interested in applying for Sadie or another of our sweeties, please fill out the application here.
Please note: We do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed. They are cared for in our wonderful network of foster homes throughout New England. Our expectation is that, after an applicant is approved through the rescue, they will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
