Sadie  - in New England

Latest update: May 2017

Oh these girls! With their gorgeous coloring and sweet eyes, who can resist these faces?!

Sadie is doing amazing and is getting along with the male dog in her foster home and the young child. Sadie loves to play and sometimes doesn't know when the other dog has had enough so she needs a tolerant dog that will teach her the ropes, or a home with some active humans who will tire her out!

Sadie and Sophie are 6 months old and are good size girls at about 45 lbs. Look at the size of those paws! Their mom is a gorgeous Catahoula leopard dog and we wonder if Dad may have been a weimeraner or mix. The girls are so very sweet, they love the other dogs in their foster home and are terrific with children.

Sadie and Sophie are so lucky to have been rescued. Their mama, Skylar, wandered up to a man's house after having taken one of his chickens for lunch. He didn't appreciate it and threatened to shoot her. His dad took in Skylar and kept her safe; he didn't know she was already pregnant. He gave away all the puppies but the last two; after contacting our partner rescuers he not only gave the puppies to them but agreed to give up mama so she could be spayed and taken care of as well.

If you have interest in Sadie or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
