Sadie - in Maine!
Posted January 2022
This little love is Sadie, she is a 6-7 year old beagle mix who has traded in “the working life” for a life of leisure. She has perfected the retirement life by being a professional lounger, sunbather and napping. She is sweet, calm-natured and gentle.
Sadie enjoys dog buddies and adores her human friends. She will warm your heart with her gentle hugs and her sweet companionship. She’d do great with a single person, a couple, or a family that includes older children who are cool with a laid-back chillin’ buddy rather than a rough and tumble playmate.

Sadie is house-trained, crate-trained, does well on a leash, and is al all around doll. Her Maine foster dad tells, “she has been a joy to have and has already made progress after being here just a week. She will lay on a cushion in the living room and sleep until it’s time for a walk. For an older girl she can be as goofy as a pup. She has been left alone for an hour at a time and she doesn’t move. When it’s bedtime she has her bed next to ours and stays there all night until I am ready in the morning.”

If you have interest in meeting Sadie or any of our cuties, please fill out the adoption application.

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(si in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
