We do not have a physical location where the dogs are kept, all our sweeties are in foster placements throughout New England, and potential adopters meet them there where they are feeling safe and comfortable. We do not "hold" dogs until a family is approved through the rescue. For more information on our process and fees, check the FAQ document at the bottom of each page of the site. Thank you for considering rescue!
Samantha - in Maine
Latest update: June 2015
Samantha is a gentle and graceful German Shepherd mix and is two years old. She is such a sweet, affectionate dog with a loving heart! Samantha is always ready to sit by your side for quality cuddle time. She is a well-mannered walking companion and is housebroken. When Samantha was in a shelter she enjoyed her daily outings in the play yard. Now that she is in foster care she is having a blast with the other dogs and is fine with the cats.
Samantha is one smart cookie, she knows the sit command and is learning by the day. Samantha is great with people of all ages. She likes to ride in the car and recently when she went to the vet with our southern rescue partners she spent half the time in the volunteer's lap, and the other half sitting up in the chair next to him. What a hoot!
The vet says Samantha probably had at least one litter of pups before coming into heat the first time. She is now spayed and up to date, ready to roll.
Samantha is being fostered in southern Maine waiting for her forever family to find her!
