Sampson - in Maine
Newest update: May 2018
Sampson arrived in Maine a few weeks ago and is such a handsome boy! He is currently in one of our wonderful doggie daycare foster homes having a blast playing all day long with his canine buddies ! Like his siblings he is a shy boy who will need an understanding family able to provide leadership & continue with his ongoing training & socialization needs. We feel it is necessary that Sampson find a home that already has a confident dog that he can learn from and help him gain more confidence. With consistency, love & patience we feel sure that Sampson will flourish into a wonderful companion. Sampson has been exposed to cats in other foster homes without any concerns, he has had limited exposure to children & due to him being timid would most likely do best with older children. We are so excited for what is in Sampsons future & look forward to helping him move on to his future forever family.
Sampson is about 10 months old (as of mid-may) and he is just gorgeous, don’t you think? Their mom is a boxer mix and dad is a St. Bernard mix. They weigh around 55 lbs now and might fill out some more but should not get a lot bigger. He loves other dogs and we don't have cat info at this time. He has done fine with older kids but has not met super little kids yet.
If you have interest in meeting the S puppies or any of our sweeties please fill out the adoption application. Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
