Siobhan - in Maine!

Newest update: July 2021

How gorgeous is this girl? Siobhan is a grown-up lady at 3 years of age and appears to be a pointer/blue heeler mix and is just 45 lbs. She LOVES her people, is good with other dogs, and when she met a cat on a leash she was curious but not fixated or aggressive. She has met children that are school-age and above. She can be hesitant with some adult males so it's important to let her initiate the greetings and treats are a help! She gets the most nervous with older men who have grey hair and beards - go figure!

Siobhan does great on a leash and has experience with crate-training. She is loving living indoors in her Maine foster home and she is a quiet guest.  Siobhan is agile and athletic and when she gets the zoomies she is FAST! A fenced yard would be ideal for her; she needs to be given opportunities for physical and mental exercise. We think she might do great with a doggy sport!

This beautiful girl will keep you on your toes with the puppy-proofing.  She can't have towels or blankets in her crate and it will be important for her to have toys for tough chewers.

Siobhan doesn't respond to her name so a new family will be able to choose a new one for her. She is housetrained and loves to have a routine.  Here's a video of Siobhan with the zoomies! https://youtu.be/oCP9o2nB3nY

If you have interest in meeting Siobhan or any of our sweet pups, please fill out the adoption application

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
