Sissy - in Maine!
Posted September 2017
This adorable sweetheart is a senior Chihuahua (approx 11 yrs old0 who is very much ready to start the next chapter in her life after her human momma sadly passed away recently. Sissy is a confident & loving little girl who would do well either as the only dog for you to dote on or would most likely also enjoy other dogs in her family to interact with. She has been around lots of other dogs but wants to boss them around a bit so she needs good leadership, but she is so loving with humans! Sissy does very well with children of all ages & also with cats. Sissy is crate trained but does not need to be crated when left alone, she will be just as happy curling up on the couch awaiting your return.
Sissy has been updated on her vaccines & has also had a much needed dental procedure which resulted in her only having one K9 tooth remaining! It is not at all uncommon for Chihuahua’s to require this type of procedure & it does not at all hinder her. Sissy was also born with a club foot, a mild deformed front paw that does not stop her in any way, she loves to run & play.
If you have interest in meeting Sissy or any of our sweeties please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful network of foster homes throughout New England.
It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
