Sophia - in Maine!

Sophia is the sweetest girl! She is approximately 10 months old and is a beautiful boxer mix who exudes puppy playfulness and cuteness. Sophia is 45 lbs of solid muscle but will likely get a little bit bigger and fill out some more. She is a fantastic medium size girl who is strong for her size, and is outgoing and affectionate. She came off the transport like a dog ready to party! She loves to play with her humans and her doggie pals. She would thrive in a home with another friendly and playful dog. Sophia absolutely needs someone who understands the exercise needs of a big puppy girl and of boxers. If you are training for a marathon, we have your girl!

 

Her southern foster mama discovered that Sophia knows some commands, especially “sit” and “down. She is always up for adventure and they think she will love playing in the snow once she gets to New England! She says Sophia is super lovable and high energy and that she would do best with a fenced yard and would adore some fun-loving human kiddos but could easily knock over tiny humans.

 

 Sophia loves cats and was even kissing one through the bars of her crate in her southern foster home, but now that she is here and living with one indoors she is maybe a little too much in love with the cat, and wants to lick and play with her non-stop! Most cats are not so appreciative of that so it would depend on the cat.  She did not have a huge prey drive when she met chickens.

This girl is PRECIOUS!

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed. They all are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a family will meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
