Suzie - in Maine

Newest update: May 2018

Suzie arrived in Maine just a few short weeks ago and is already showing her foster family what a super sweet & loving girl she is.  Like her siblings she is a little shy at first but with some TLC, patience & understanding is already opening up & eager to learn & please. Suzie will need a family able to provide leadership & continue with her ongoing training & socialization needs. We feel it is best that Suzie find a home that already has a confident dog that she can learn from and to help her gain more confidence. Suzie has been attending one of our wonderful doggie daycare facilities a couple of times a week & has been having a fantastic time playing & making more friends.Suzie's foster family has been very impressed with the progress she has made so far, they say that she loves going for walks but is also very content & happy to be relaxing at home. We can hardly wait for what is in Suzie's future & look forward to continuing this journey with her to find her forever home.

Suzie is around 10 months old and her mom is a boxer mix, Dad is a St. Bernard mix. She is about 50 lbs and should fill out some more but not get too much bigger. They do have big feet for sure!

Suzie loves other dogs and is living with older children and doing well.

If you have interest in meeting the S puppies or any of our sweeties please fill out the adoption application. Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
