Tasha - HOLD

This sweet and gentle dog is Tasha. She is 14 months old and her breed mix is a mystery! Whatever she is mixed with, we’d love to bottle the breed mix because she is a doll! Tasha has double dew claws which is not super common – breeds like the Great Pyrenees, Beauceron, Anatolian shepherds, and Icelandic Sheepdogs can have them!

Back in July, Tasha showed up at the workplace of a man who had adopted from one of our southern partner rescues. Luckily he knew who to call! She was very thin and covered in ticks. Her rescuer nursed her back to health and was so tempted to keep her but felt she would love to have a home with fewer dogs and so much love and attention! She loves to ride in the car, walks great on a leash and is good with adults, kids, cats and other dogs. She’s the total package! Tasha is housetrained, knows the “sit” and “give paw” commands and is having a blast in play groups with other friendly dogs.

She recently went to the vet for her final checks before travel and she was an absolute sweetheart. She sat sweetly for her nail trim and an ear cleaning and loved all the attention!

If you have interest in meeting Tasha or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England, and it is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
