Zack and Zoey had a tough beginning. When the owners had to move, instead of doing the right thing and surrendering the baby pups and their mama they just opened the door
of their mobile home and let the puppies loose. We don't know how many there were originally but the fact these two didn't get hit is amazing and they were meant to be survivors.
They lived on their own together and would run to the bus stop every day to meet all the kids getting off the bus. Luckily someone called our southern rescue partners who were
able to come and save them and take care of them.
They are about 6 months old now (as of mid-October) . Zach weighs 27 lbs and Zoey weighs 25 lbs.
Zach was born with half a tail and Zoey has 3/4 a tail. We think they could be cattle dog/jack russell mixes but noone knows
In spite of their tough start, they are the sweetest, most loving dogs. They get along great with the other dogs in their foster home and they are good with children. We don't have cat info at this time.
If you are interested in Zack or any of our sweeties, please fill out the application.
Please note: We do not have a physical location where the dogs are housed. They all are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog of interest, it is our expectation that you will meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
Thank you for considering rescue!
